Savannah Station

Very unique venue and easy to work with!

As soon as I saw Savannah Station I knew this was where I wanted to have our reception. It was beautiful and had the exact look I wanted. What I didn't expect was the exceptional service we received at the reception. The staff set up the centerpieces for us, insured that the wedding favors, gifts, etc. were all in the proper place, and organized with the other vendors for delivery of food, cake, DJ equipment, etc. My glass was never empty, for whenever the staff would see I needed another drink they would bring me one! They made our wedding even more special than it already was!

Savannah Station is a truly unique place to have your wedding. I used them for my reception, but they also have an option for ceremonies. I was told I could use the Station as my backup if there was rain (I got married in a historic square), but it has a $500 charge for that which I don't think is necessary since I had already rented the space. There are some inconvenient stipulations, so make sure you read the documents, contract, and be specific about what you what upfront. One of the things they don't tell you are that the bar closes nearly an hour before your reception ends. That was a bit of a damper. But overall, my reception was fabulous mostly thanks to the venue. No one was using the building on Saturday morning, so the coordinator allowed us to come in Friday to drop off decorations for our guest book table, candy buffet, and tables which helped us a ton. If you're a sucker for historic places and vintage art/items, the Savannah Station is for you!

They were so Easy to work with. Theresa was wonderful and was able to get specialty drink supplies for us. The bartenders were fantastic! Our guests had a wonderful time and all commented on how perfect the station was. I would reccomend it to anyone.

Beautiful place for a wedding. The space is huge and very unique. Only problem is you have to get your bar service through them and its WAY over-priced and you can only have an open bar. But other than that its a GREAT venue for a wedding or party.

Savannah Station (and in particular Teresa) was amazingly easy to work with. They were always responsive and open-minded with things that I wanted to do and even assisted in brainstorming with me to make my reception exactly what I wanted. We got our drinks (alcohol and otherwise) from Savannah Station as well and the pricing was incredibly reasonable. I would not change one thing from the way our reception was planned and executed - and Savannah Station was a huge part of that!

EXCELLENT venue! Staff outstanding - spent tons of time, personable, receptive to bride's ideas, offered concrete suggestions and tips, provided service choices. I cannot imagine a better, more fairy tale wedding. I cannot imagine the wornderful results w/o Teresa's assistance!!!!!!! A pleasure to work w/ - a direct contributor to the day's success and awesome memories!
