Mark is an awesome cook and a great guy! The food at the tasting was amazing and at the wedding it was even better! Everyone loved everything that he made. He was also worked with me on the menu to create exactly what I wanted and gave us a very fair price. I wish he lived next door and owned a restaurant so I could go there every day. It is also nice to work with someone who was easy to talk to and knows what hes talking about. Couldn't be happier with the food and service!

If you want a great cater there the one. We had them cater two of holiday dinners for my company and the second time was requested with everyone donateing money for them to come out again. You get a pretty good bit of food and it taste so good. I give them a 5 because it was a great service and the quality was excellent.

Mark was great to work with! We made several changes to our menu during the planning process and Mark was very helpful by making suggestions to keep us under budget. We thought the food was very good in general. The fruit was especially fresh, everyone raved about the beef tenderloin, and the shrimp skewers were also a crowd favorite. The servers also cut our cake for us. Unfortunately not everyone received a piece of cake, but I'm not sure if it was an oversight on the servers' part or if the guests were too busy dancing to notice that cake was being served. Overall we were pleased with Savannah Event Catering and would recommend them to our friends.

The food was great. We requested sushi as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. Many of our guests had never experienced sushi and many of them the thoroughly enjoyed their first experience. I make sushi at home and the chef was giving me tips to help make my at home sushi experience better by going as far as offering me his contact information so that I could call him if I had any questions while making my own. Great guy. The food was ready on time and the caterers took care of all of the cleaning. I would highly recommend this catering service to anyone looking for a catered meal.

Mark and his staff made our reception everything we wanted and was able to do it with in our budget. He was very flexable to changes and kept in touch with us during whole process. It was a great that as soon as we walked in theyy were ready and had everything reasdy for our guess. Everyone was impressed with their persentation of the food and the taste. He staff was professional and we hardly knew they had pack up and cleaned. I would recommend Mark and Savannah Event Cartering to anyone in need this service.

Savannah Event Catering provided an exceptional catering service for my work function. With over 80 adults plus children in attendance, there was plenty of excellent, well-prepared food served in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Many guests commented to me as the organizer after the event that the food and service were exceptional. Without a doubt, I will continue to use SEC and Mark Scomo for all future events, both work-related and private.

This was the best choice I made for my wedding, out of all of the choices I had to make! Nothing went so smoothly, and was so satisfying, as our reception dinner. The service was excellent (even accommodating dietary restrictions with no fuss!), and the food was fantastic. We couldn't have been happier, and our guests (many of whom stayed in a big rental house with us for the weekend) were thrilled to have leftovers for lunch the next day. If we ever have a reason to hire a caterer in Savannah again, I won't think twice before calling Savannah Event Catering.

Mark and his gang were absolutely great to work with for our wedding catering. We were planning a wedding from 3000 miles away and he was very helpful talking to us on the phone about all of our options. He was also really flexible with the menu as we substituted some things from the set menu. He also recommended things that would decrease the price for us (like having served hors d'oeuvres because people eat less of them than buffet hors d'oeurves). He was also able to finagle the menu down to a set price based on our budget. As for the wedding day itself Mark showed up and promptly took charge of the venue and did a fantastic job. He took a lot of pressure of of me so that I could concentrate on getting married. The food was awesome and his wait staff very attentive to everything. I'd highly recommend using Savannah Event Catering for your wedding. Mark knows what he's doing and makes things very easy.

Marc and his staff were absolutely wonderful!!!!!! My husband and I were very please with his menu selections for us to choose from. He was always prompt for meetings and responsing to phone calls. We actually live in the Atlanta Area so this was a long distance wedding plan for us.The quality of service and food received far exceeded the cost. Our venue was also in Forsyth Park at the Bandshell so this required a lot of flexiblity on the part of Marc and his staff. Everyone of our guests commented on the presentation, the wonderful taste and the excellent staff. We could not have chosen anyone more suited to caterer our wedding reception. Should we ever require caterering again, we can only hope he will come to Atlanta! ; )

Mark's food was amazing and seasoned to perfection! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the service was extraordinary! Mark worked with us to create a menu that we were comfortable paying for and there were no hidden costs! He was available every step along the way to answer any questions we had and he was extremely helpful advising us on last minute details. Mark is extremely professional, reliable, and affordable! I decided to pretty much plan my whole wedding by myself and Mark was wonderful. He gave me many items to choose from and helped me figure out a magnifacent menue for a great price. The food was fabulous and everyone loved the apps and course dinners. Mark met with me as many times as i needed to make sure iwas comfortable with everything. I hired Savannah Event Catering for my son's college graduation....I live around Jacksonville area...my son graduated near Savannah (GSU)....Mark was great...great...He saved me...I had a nice not too expensive brunch after the graduation...he went out of his way to take care of it...I forgot the plates, cups...guess what...he had all that stuff ready just in case...He was ahead of everything...He even brought the cake...I was so worry about my son graduation...did't have time to organize anything...SEC did it all for me...THANK YOU!!!!Everyone was sooooo happy with the food....THANKS...
