Kristy Walea-Miller did my hair and makeup at marigolds. It came out perfect and I didn't even do a bridal trial ahead of time. Pam also did my mom's hair and makeup and she also did a great job. I have been going to this salon for almost 10 years. I wouldn't trust anyone else to help me on my wedding day.

Marigold Beauty Concepts did the hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. They did a great job and were very nice to work with. They were prepared for us when we came in and were able to get us in and out on time, maybe even a little ahead of schedule!

What a find! I cannot believe Marigold doesn't have more reviews. I'll dive right into my saga. I was planning a wedding in Savannah from across the country, so finding a salon was challenging. I originally chose one of the bigger names with many reviews on WW, and when I called to confirm our appointment times about a month before my wedding day (luckily I did), they had my party scheduled two hours later than I had requested. This, of course, would have made us late to the ceremony, so I now I'm left 2500 miles away with no salon and only four weeks before my wedding day...I was in a panic. I called pretty much every place with more than one review on WW, but they were all booked. I then started looking for places on the internet. That's when I stumbled across Marigold's website. I thought it was too good to be true. They had reasonable prices listed, and their gallery showcased beautiful work. I assumed they would be booked, but I decided to give them a call. Surprise! They had appointments for both hair and make-up available! Yay! So, that is how I ended up at Marigold. Now, let me tell you about my experience there. In a word...wonderful! They are so nice and so willing to work with you. Due to photographer scheduling, I actually had to call them about a week before the wedding and move the wedding day appointments to an hour earlier and my practice session to one day earlier, and it was no problem for them. On the wedding day, my two bridesmaids and I looked amazing. Our hair and make-up were perfect. We go so many compliments. (Even my wedding coordinator and photographer were asking where we got our hair done because we all looked so nice.) Virginia did my updo and make-up, and I highly recommend her. She's very good at both, but she's also great at listening and is very detail-oriented. She wants you to look perfect, and if something isn't quite right, just let her know...she'll fix it until you're happy. She also has some entertaining stories to tell, which kept me laughing and calmed my nerves a bit. (Thanks a million, Virginia!) My only regret is that I didn't have her put my veil in. It would have been a pain to wear it all day, but we couldn't get it in well enough to stay. (My advice to you is that if you are wearing a veil where you insert the comb upwards into your hair, have your hair stylist anchor it in for you and just deal with the inconvenience.) Just to give a shout-out to the other ladies: I believe Pamela did both my bridesmaid's and maid of honor's make-up, Christie did my bridesmaid's updo, and the "new girl" (sorry I can't recall the name) did my maid of honor's updo. They all looked amazing, and they lasted all night...even through a windy carriage ride and lots of tears! So, in summary, Marigold ROCKS! Call them!!!
