Luke Smith was something incredible. He put so much time into our wedding and he was the sweetest thing. His artistry is amazing, and he takes every photo that you want and he makes it happen all while making you look amazing in each shot. He's very all about his bride but he loves his grooms too! He was amazing with me & my now husband and I am so grateful that I got the chance to work with him. He has a wonderful sense of humor, and has a great idea book for photographs. It's wonderful how happy he is to be taking pictures! He spent so much time with us on the day of and it was amazing. I'm really happy with my sneak peak that I got and I'm very VERY excited for the rest of them!~

Luke is an amazing photographer. My husband and I eloped to Savannah and he was recommended to us by Kehoe House. He took amazing shots of my husband and I, and directed us very well to get the best pictures possible. We are Facebook friends and Luke checks in with us all the time! My husband and I both love looking at our wedding pictures on a daily basis. I could not have picked a better photographer.

There are not enough stars to rate Lone Pine Photography! My photos are absolutely beautiful! Luke was wonderful on our wedding day, making us comfortable and making us laugh. He showed us some of the shots along the way to make sure we were getting what we wanted and were comfortable with the lighting and set up, I was confident the final product would be great but the results exceeded my expectations! My friends and family rave that my wedding photos are the most beautiful they have ever seen! I would highly recommend Lone Pine Photography to any other brides!

Luke did a great job for my "offbeat" wedding in June! Most photographers would probably cringe when hearing there would be two dogs in attendance, and a very camera shy groom. But Luke was patient, funny, and is very good at what he does! Highly recommend him for your special day!

Luke Smith from Lone Pine photography did the photos from my wedding and it was better than I could have imagined! When choosing a photographer, my mom and I really liked him because he was very friendly and always responsive to us. He showed up early to the wedding and photographed all the small details that we would want to remember from that day. He gave suggestions on different poses and asked us if there was anything special we had in mind to photograph. We had our wedding in a courtyard at a house in Savannah and after we took pictures there, Luke gave a great suggestion for another location. He took us to a beautiful bridge and the pictures look absolutely amazing! Luke's prices are very reasonable and he is very flexible with times, locations, or with any other ideas you may have. He was very friendly and funny, and made my husband and I feel very comfortable with all of the photos we took. Luke Smith of Lone Pine Photography is truly FABULOUS! Luke was so caring from day one. He personalized our engagement shots as if they were as important as the big day. Every time we've done a shoot he's asked our opinions, shared his and taken the perfect combo of pictures. Luke has always made us feel important like we were his only clients even though we knew we weren't. Luke is always more than professional while showing a personal approach. My wedding day photos went off without any error. He went out of his way to be in multiple places to get getting ready shots, the wedding party before the ceremony, and perfect wedding and after shots. Somehow in the middle of taking hundreds of pictures of us, he managed to capture every single guest, amazing! All the way through the trash the dress shots and the photos of my new daughter and I he showed just as much care and attention to detail as ever.I am blessed to have found the perfect photographer for our wedding. Every time someone tells me "I CAN'T BELIEVE THESE ARE YOUR WEDDING PICTURES, THEY LOOK LIKE A PHOTO SHOOT FOR A HIGH END MAGAZINE" I am reminded of how lucky I am to have contracted Lone Pine!

Words cannot express how happy we are with our wedding photos, they are more than we ever imagined! Luke was very professional but also friendly and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I am so glad he was our photographer for our wedding day!

Jeremy and I just adore Luke's personality. He is charismatic and professional. He went above and beyond to come to our hotel to discuss our options when the rain ruined our outside wedding. You could tell his main concern was our memories (photographs). Our situation was not ideal. In fact we went from having an outdoor park wedding to getting married in a Pub. Luke had the equipment on hand to adjust to our change of plans and rocked the room! When I received our gallery in less than a week, I was quite surprised at his turnaround. As a professional photographer, myself, I can honestly say that there was not a single image who's intent and quality was not clear. Tones were perfect, composition was on the mark, and each was properly exposed, sharpened and not overly or grossly edited. His flash did not overpower the ambient light leaving the mood of the pub, warm and realistic. As a bride and photographer, I can honestly say Luke Smith is a wonderful photographer and a new friend. Thank you Luke for the beautiful photos, quick turnaround, not breaking my bank account and befriending myself and Jeremy.

Lone Pine Photography did our engagement shoot as well as our Tybee Island wedding on 8/14/2010. Words could not express how wonderful Luke was and how GREAT our pictures were. My husband and I, as well as our guest, were in aww when we viewed our pictures. It only took Luke a week to get us our pictures (785 to be exact!). As a gift to my husband and I he threw in an extra hour for FREE!! It doesn't get any better than that. The prices were by far better than the others and we are sooo glad that we found him. I highly recommend Lone Pine Photography and PROMISE that you will not be disappointed.

For my wedding I hired a friend of the family and boy was it a mistake! My wedding pictures turned out terrible and I ended up having only a few to show friends and family and even those were distorted. Luckily, I found Luke! Six months after getting married Luke had me all dolled up in my wedding dress with my hair and makeup done perfectly and my husband decked out in his tux. There we were, having every image every bride dreams of having taken. He was so wonderful! He knew exactly how to angle my body to get the perfect shot and how to tilt my husband's head to look so romantic! EVERY SINGLE picture he took was PERFECT! I never thought I could look that beautiful. He re-created that special day for me in a way that no one ever could. I am forever grateful to him. He did such a fantastic job that we are using him for some family photos next. If you are looking for someone that will pay attention to all the details and truly knows what he's doing, hire Luke. He took a tragedy and turned it into a dream come true for my husband and I.

Luke was great--caught some lovely moments and went above the call of duty quite a bit. He was professional but warm and funny. We've gotten many compliments both on him as a non-obtrusive presence at the wedding and on the beautiful pictures.

When I started planning our wedding I knew the most important thing for me was going to be the photography. I looked at a lot of potential photographers but after meeting with Luke for the first time, I knew he was the photographer for us. From that first meeting he made it very clear that he loves what he does and his client's satisfaction is his biggest motivation. Luke not only takes beautiful pictures but he's a pleasure to work with as well. I love taking pictures but my groom, Matt, not so much. But at our engagment shoot (which Luke throws in for free) he made Matt feel totally comfortable and I think Matt was actually surprised by the end to see it had been kind of fun. On the actual day of the wedding Luke was there bright and early and stayed into the night, making sure he didn't miss any of the things that made that day so special. Luke made everyone he worked with at the wedding feel totally comfortable but he managed that personablness with the highest level of professionalism. He got the pictures edited and up for me to review within days and I couldn't be happier with the results. Your wedding day goes by so fast and it's so nice to be able to look back at your pictures and see all the sweet little moments you didn't even realize were going on around you.
