JLK are the lighting masters! I never knew how important lighting was until I walked into our reception. JLK turned a beautiful room into a GRAND & LUXURIOUS ballroom! They were able to match a difficult color with no problem. They over delivered on our wedding day & WOW-ed our guests, and us too! Liz & Jamie are two of the most genuine people we have met! Professional and amazing! Our wedding would not have been them same without them!

We couldn't have asked for a better couple to work with. Liz and Jamie made our special day stressless and FUN!!!! With them we didn't have to worry about a thing. They played exactly the type of music we liked and were just so much fun! They put all your worries at ease to let you enjoy your day! They also did our lighting for the event and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Jamie and Liz :)

Jamie and Liz Bodie are an incredible team. They meet with you to create your reception timeline and get a feel for what kind of music you like. They really stick to whatever it is that you need and they kept our reception flowing so nicely. Jamie puts in 100% the day of the event to make sure everything goes the way you want it. He even ran over to us to let us know that the last song was coming up soon and asked if there was anything we really wanted to hear before then. It was so nice not to have to worry about anything during the reception and to know that they were going to keep us on schedule to make sure we got everything done on time. We highly recommend them!

JLKevents MADE our wedding amazing. My husband and I have a broad (and sometimes crazy) range of music tastes that we asked be played during the ceremony and reception, and JLKevents got every single song we wanted. Their timing during the event was perfect, Gary kept the party going with great music choices all night. When the sun finally went down it felt like we were at a dance party instead of a wedding. The lighting was perfect to fit the craziness of our friends on the dance floor. JLKevents was extremely easy to work with and patient with me, as I was overwhelmed with all aspects of the wedding planning. The attendants' intros and the Love Story really stuck out in everyone's minds; we got TONS of compliments on the DJ that night. I can't say enough good things about JLKevents, I want them at every event I have!

We could not have been happier with our DJ services. JLK events gave extra time and attention to make our reception special and just the way we wanted it. In addition, we also contracted for lighting services, which made the ballroom absolutely beautiful. Jamie and Liz have been in the business for a long time and know exactly what needs to be done and arranged. I was clueless in planning a wedding reception and they helped me every step of the way. They do an excellent job and my day was perfect and stress-free thanks to them. I didn't have to worry about a thing.

I was extremely satisfied with everything. Jamie provided a good flow for the wedding and reception. Jamie's Love Story of the Bride and Groom added such a sweet moment to the reception. It was wonderful and beautiful. The lighting was beautiful. I can't say enough for these wonderful people. Brides if you don't hire these professionals for your event you will be greatly disappointed.

I am so happy that we used PortaParty DJ for our wedding/reception. Jamie and Liz are so wonderful to work with and were very responsive to our needs. They provided music for our wedding ceremony on the beach and our reception. All of our guests commented on how GREAT the DJ was. Jamie played the best music and kept our party going. The "wedding story" and our wedding party introductions really added a personal touch to our reception that all of our guests enjoyed. I would recommend PortaParty DJ for any wedding or party.

Jamie and Liz were wonderful to work with. They took a lot of time in the beginning getting to know the bride and groom and designing the evening just for them. We worried about NOTHING because we knew Jamie had everything under control. The music was perfect.. just the right music for dinner, and fun music for dancing. Made the reception just a wonderful memorable evening! Our son and daughter-in-law-to-be will be working with them this coming year for their wedding.
