Hilton Head Entertainment was a wonderful company to work with. Jessica always communicated in a timely, professional manner. She was informative and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The DJ we picked was Alan Palchak and he was the BEST DJ!!! He played our requests that we had given him prior to the wedding as well as our guest’s requests!! He made all of us extremely happy!! Alan is all smiles the whole night and kept everyone going on the dance floor. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He is easy going, professional, and knows how to keep guests happy and dancing!! It was hard to leave the reception at the end of the night =) I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He is worth every penny!

Awesome DJ! Everything you could want! Alan Palchak has a great personality, is highly skilled, and has a deep understanding of music and music mix! Jessica was also very helpful and easy to work with. Alan was very accommodating to our requests and music style too! Thank you Alan for making our day special and sounding great!

The musicians were great - their management company is a hassle to deal with. I used Alyssa Jae and Charlie (violin and cello) and they were great (albeit costly) but if I could find musicians without a management company or at least with a more friendly company I would do so. Again, this does not reflect the musicians....they were great!

I hightly recommend Hilton Head Entertainment. Cherie was extremely helpful in arranging the details. We were very fortunate to be able to book DJ Alan. I sent the music I wanted Alan to play for the ceremony and for our first dance...Alan did the rest. Alan is extrememely professional and great at what he does. I'm still getting compliments about the music that was played on our wedding day. I wish I could say that I had something to do with it, but it was all Alan.

Alan Palchack is the best DJ on the island, hands down. People danced the entire 6 hours of our reception when they weren't sitting down to eat! We had a variety of ages - from 2 to 82 - at our reception, and everyone had fun. He kept the party going and did such a fantastic job that we would recommend him to anyone. He was easy to work with and called the week of the wedding to review details & ensure we were all set. We'd recommend him without hesitation!

Solo violinist Alyssa Jae was amazing. She provided beautiful music for the ceremony and background music during the cocktail hour. Excellent feedback from all the guests! Highly recommend her!

Alan Palchak was our DJ and he did a great job. He was really able to read our guests and kept them entertained. He was also able to accomodated all of our special requests, including a hard find song. He was dressed nicely and very professional.

If it was possible to give someone more than 5 stars, our musican would receive it! David Duckworth, outstanding pianist. The music was so beautiful it made the entire event magical. Working with Hilton Head Entertainment was so easy. Everyone was so professional. Highly recommend to everyone!

Alan was a great DJ. very easy to work with and played all my requests. Jessica was my "go to" girl and I really appreciated her. She answered all my (what I thought) were dumb questions without making me feel dumb! :o) Always got right back to me. Thank you for making my reception memberable!

We used Alyssa for our ceremony music and Wayne for our DJ. Alyssa did a wonderful job at the ceremony (I am told, since I wasn't around for most of the music for the ceremony!). My guests loved her playing, and they loved the song selections...some of which I had picked and some by her own choosing. Wayne was great as a DJ. We had one minor incident when the circuit breaker was tripped, but they got it fixed and it all went wonderfully. Wayne handled himself very professionally, and was really easy to work with.

HHE was very helpful in helping me find entertainment for my wedding ceremony! I used a violinist and cellist, and the music was beautiful!

We used Hilton Head Entertainment for both our ceremony (Arlyn string duo) and rehearsal dinner (Positive Vibrations). Jessica at HHE was very responsive, flexible and professional. Arlyn's music was lovely and Positive Vibrations (a steel drum band) supplied the relaxed, island feel we wanted for the rehearsal. Great company!

Mike Miller was our DJ and did a good job. He played all the types of songs we requested during the beginning of the reception/dinner and made sure we stuck to the schedule we mapped out for the reception. He was well spoken and didn't overuse the microphone to intice guests to dance, which was very nice. We had an outdoor wedding, and had to move inside at 10pm per the town ordinance. Mike had to tap on our guests to help him move his equipment inside, and the re-setup took him about 20 minutes, which put a dent in our dancing. But he got everyone back on the dance floor just fine with some good music. And he played Boom-Boom-Pow (Black Eyed Peas) 3 times, so if you're not interested in hearing a song more than once at your reception, you'll need to specify. Overall, I'd recommend him!

We hired Alyssa Jae to play violin at our ceremony. I didn't want the bridal march and asked her about a few musical selections that weren't on her list. She knew all of them and got back to me immediately. Unfortunately, I didn't get to hear much of the music live (this is what happens to the bride!) but she was wonderful! Very professional and worth the money.

Hilton Head Entertainment booked Mike and the Mixers for our June wedding. At the wedding, the band was great at getting people on the dance floor and keeping them there. I did have 2 complaints with them though, the first is that when my new husband and I walked back in, we were not introduced, even those we had asked to. Instead, we had to go away and come back after my Maid of Honor told them to introduce us. The other is when I spoke with the band leader the week before the wedding I mentioned that Brown Eyed Girl was a very important song to me and my sorority and I would like it played during the dancing. They ended up playing it once while everyone was eating and again while me and my bridesmaids were taking pictures on the beach. They played the last dance and I realized that I never got to sing that song with my girls. At first they refused to play it because of the noise ordinance, but my coordinator said that we still had time so they ended up playing it. However, I am sure that my guests did not enjoy hearing it three times. Also, I had an outdoor wedding in June and I was very nervous that it was going to rain. When I booked the band Hilton Head Entertainment said that the venue was fine for the band and not to worry. Well 3 days before the wedding, Mike told me that they were not comfortable playing outside and that I should have resolved that with Hilton Head Entertainment. He also said if there was a threat of rain they would not play. I was pretty upset at this because what was I supposed to do 3 days out? I also assumed that going through a booking agency that they would be working all of this out and not me. Needless to say, he did very little to be reassuring or helpful in the stressful week before a wedding. If you don't care about the music and you just want a good band - they're great, but be aware that they may be rude the week of.

Hilton Head Entertainment provided us with our Harpist, Phyllis Mauney, for our ceremony and The Headliners for our reception. Both were exceptional musicians. We have received nothing but compliments on both. The ceremony music was nothing short of elegant and beautiful. The Headliners provided us with a great time that the entire crowd enjoyed. Everyone was dancing!!!!!

DJ was extremly nice and had GREAT equipment, however his song selection wasn`t the best. We needed more up beat music and not as many slow songs.

Andy Pinckney was a true professional and so flexible for our wedding reception. We needed Andy to set up and stay later than what was originally in our contract and he had no problem doing this. It was such a relief to hear that we would be at the reception and set up for a guests arriving early and when we wanted to keep dancing at the end of the evening he kept playing. He was very easy to communicate with and had no problem finding all of our crazy requests for songs.
