Garden on the Square

I could not have been more happy with my floral arrangements from Garden on the Square. They were exactly as I pictured them. Julie did everything she could to make my vision a reality and keep it within the constraints of my budget. Her staff was very helpful, punctual, and professional.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Garden on the Square did an amazing job on all my wedding flowers. I have received so many comments from family and friends on how beautiful everything turned out. They were very helpful and quick to respond with answers to questions. Love all that they do!!!!

Julie D. is AMAZING. Her whole persona is incredibly calming just so sunshiny! We wanted simple flowers and were working on a budget and she really made our dreams come true. She took my concept and really made it happen. The flowers were so gorgeous- and lasted all day (and beyond!)I even called her with a last-minute mini crisis and she put something together for me and saved the day! If you are getting married in or around Savannah you must use them!

Garden on the square did a great job on my wedding flowers! They turned out beautifully! I will admit the flowers weren't my biggest concern when it came to the wedding. With that in mind, they helped us pick flowers with our budget in mind that still looked great.

Julie Driscoll is the sweetest, honest and caring florist in Savannah. She listen, suggests and works magic. I still can't believe how talented she is.

Julie Driscoll and her staff did a fantastic job with the flowers for our wedding. The flowers and floral arrangements Julie and her staff created complimented the natural beauty of the garden (the venue for our wedding and reception). Julie made sure every detail was correct, to include pinning a picture of my husband (deceased) to my daughter's bouquet so she could feel like her dad was with her on this special occasion.

We were on a tight flower/decor budget and I ended up DIYing a lot of things, however Julie & her crew still made me feel like a priority and pulled everything together for me perfectly. Julie and I met once, I explained to her the colors and vision that I had. She is super sweet and very professional. Julie agreed to do small centerpiece arrangements to compliment my DIY centerpiece, as well as the bridal bouquets/bouts and a flower petal monogram for the outdoor wedding aisle, all within my budget. Never did she try to pressure me to spend more or make me feel like I was being cheap. Julie even went a step further and pulled together all of the pieces I made to ensure they looked the way we discussed. Great value for the money!

Julie was amazing! I was planning a destination wedding on a budget and was rather indecisive. But she worked with me and helped guide me to the perfect flowers for my wedding. She took my absent minded ramblings and turned them into the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements I had ever seen. The one thing that I knew I wanted was single dahlias in bud vases to place all over the reception. She found teh biggest most beautiful dahlias I have EVER seen. So many people asked me what they were and were taken aback by how beautiful they were. Simple - Elegant - Perfect is how I would describe what Julie put together for us which matched the theme of our event to a T! She is an excellent person to work with and I highly reccomend her for any of your needs in the floral department!

Mrs. Julie and her team did a phenomenal job for our wedding at Savannah Quarters!!! The flower petals used for our aisle runner were so beautiful...I was taken back by how perfect the design turned out. THANK YOU MRS. JULIE for all of your hard work and patients with our wedding!

I was so impressed with Garden on the Square the first time I walked into the shop. My husband and I had been to other florists who were very disorganized and couldn't give us an accurate estimate or idea of what they could do. Garden on the Square had HUNDREDS of photos of their work and each one had a price tag, it was super easy to pick out what we wanted AND to stay within our budget. They were also very friendly and made us feel right at home in their shop. On our wedding day the flowers I had picked for the guys didn't end up looking quite like what I had imagined. So, my dad went back to Garden on the Square and they made all new boutonnieres on the spot for all the guys no questions asked and free of charge. It was amazing! They helped make my wedding perfect.

I loved Julie the moment I met her, I had no idea what I really wanted but with her help I felt very confident. She was beyond friendly and always was helpful on the phone or in emails. She was having some troubles with her email at the time so it was somewhat hard to get ahold of her. Julie was also more than willing to use my grandmothers handkerchief and attached it beautifully and with great care to my bouquet. My bouquet was beautiful, amazing large white roses. I just wish I would have stuck with roses throughout but that would have been way beyond my budget. The hydrangeas I used for my BMs flowers were not what I envisioned but I think that was just poor choosing on my part. I'm not sure if it is all spray roses but they were an awful choice for my boutonnieres. When we got them they were all closed up and a little brown. By the time the ceremony was starting they had totally shriveled up and were completely brown. I changed my mind about my flower girl carrying rose petals and got a small bouquet instead. If I had know that it would have been about 8 spray roses I would have requested to spend more or done something else. It was incredibly tiny and fell apart on the way to the ceremony. Overall I don't believe I got the quality of what I paid for, but was beyond happy with my bouquet!

Julie at Garden on the Square was amazing to work with. As an out of state bride, she was more than willing to work around my schedule and have long meetings when I could be there in person and talk to me over the phone and by email when that was easier for me. She has a beautiful aesthetic and was able to create more beautiful flowers than I could have imagined myself within my budget. The first time I met Julie was the one weekend I was in Savannah to plan my destination wedding there. I was only in Savannah for two days and trying to get everything packed into those two days was extremely challenging. Julie was so accommodating when we were late to our appointment and my Mom was getting phone call after phone call from other vendors during our appointment! Julie never lost patience and at one point even left us alone to discuss other vendors! She is so warm and welcoming and doesn't make you feel like you are doing business, but instead working on a fun project with a friend! I felt like I already knew her when I first met her! Julie immediately understood my vision for my wedding and began pulling up pictures for me that were exactly what I was picturing for my wedding! I met with two other florists on my trip and neither seemed to understand what I was looking for but Julie did. Julie also understood that I was on a budget, but she gave me so many options that it didn't seem to matter. I explained to her that I wanted a full aisle of rose petals for my ceremony. She immediately told me that this would be extremely costly, but she knew of a website called fiftyflowers.com where I could get them at a lower rate! She also let me ship the petals to her a day before the wedding so I didn't have to worry about the petals at all. I admire Julie so much for trying to help and accommodate her customers the way she does that she would even allow them to order flowers from somewhere else to save them money! Thanks to Julie, I got my full petal aisle and it was beautiful! In fact, it was the only ceremony decor I had. When I originally met with Julie, we laid out a complete floral plan for the entire wedding. By the time I met her the 2nd time, I had changed every item in our original plan. Julie didn't mind at all, and was happy to change it! Again, she immediately understood my new vision and my reception ended up not having any floral decor at all. Julie created the most amazing centerpieces for me that was a vase with gold branches extended from them, with votive candles and crystals hanging from the branches. They were exactly what I wanted! Planning a destination wedding can be difficult, but Julie kept in touch and was very prompt when answering any questions I had. I only visited Savannah twice through the year I planned my wedding, but twice was all Julie needed! Julie brought my visions to life. I couldn't have asked for a better florist. If you are looking for the best, you'll find it at Garden on the Square!

The team at Garden on the Square was fantastic. Thank you Julie for making our flowers look so amazing for our wedding. Being from out of town we had an added level of stress but Julie was amazing to work with and made not living in town so much easier with the flowers. She gave us great advice on saving money without loosing the look we wanted for our wedding. Everything we got from her looked absolutely amazing on the day of our wedding!

Julie and her team at Garden on the Square are amazing! I knew I wanted her lovely touch on my unique bouquet made of palm roses (sometimes called sweet grass) and all I needed was uncut bunches of flowers for my vintage bottle centerpieces. Julie worked with me on picking the most appropriate, most affordable flowers for my budget, my colors, and my historic theme. Beautiful! I love Garden on the Square!

Amazing. I met with Julie with a picture of a bouquet from a magazine that I really wanted for my wedding. Julie took it on and created such amazing floral pieces - my bouquet was so gorgeous and I really appreciate the attention to detail.

Julie at Garden on the Square was very nice and provided flowers just as I had described. Prices are a bit high (especially for minimal floral centerpieces I had her quote), so I only had her do my bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. My bouquet was different colors of pink roses. My bridesmaids' bouquets were a mixture of different colors of pink roses. Boutonnieres were dark pink roses, and corsages were dark pink spray roses. They were very nice. My complaints are (1) that she chose to include light pink Gerber daisies with pale centers (instead of brown centers) in the bridesmaids' bouquets...it looked a little off to me (peachy), but it wasn't too big of a deal, (2) the spray roses for the corsages were kind of flat...I think regular roses might have been better, and (3) she asked me to provide pink ribbon so that it would match bridesmaids' dresses but I didn't get any sort of discount on my flowers for providing the ribbon and I didn't get my extra ribbon back. If you're really concerned with flowers, I'd suggest you specify everything to a tee.
