The team at Elegant Bridal provided ok service. I was really upset that if you bought your gown from the sale room that you were treated totally different. I purchased my gown from the sale room I was told I had to take it home that day and I was handed a card for someone that could alter my dress instead of being allowed to use the instore person. I also noticed them giving gifts to brides that purchased their gowns from the regular area and they were much more accomodating to them. I actually chose Elegant Bridal because of the wonderful service my best friend received when she purchased her gown; but that was because she purchased her gown from the regular room and had to order one in but when I went in my experience was totally cold and callous...

Bridal stores are limited in my hometown, Columbia, so we drove to Augusta after hearing of two store there. I had a great experience trying on dresses at EB, so much that I purchased my dress there. I was so happy to find such a great dress at a great price, I just knew I'd made the right choice.Unfortunately, the great customer service ended there. I arrived to try on my dress when it came in, and my associate was cold and I felt I was in her way. They had not scheduled me for a fitting even though I had asked for one. We picked a veil, they tried to push accessories on me, and I drove back to Columbia seriously considering finding another dress at another store. I opted to be practical, and arrived for my fitting 6 weeks later. The store and seamstress knew we were under a time crunch to have the dress done by the portraits, and agreed it could be done with no problem. I had to force the seamstress to remove crinoline. (WHY would you do that? she wanted to know. "Because that was our intent when we bought it.") I needed it taken in on the sides, hemmed and tacked in the front so it didn't stick out. When I arrived 2 weeks later to try on and pick up my gown, it was not ready. 10 minutes later, they put me in a room with my dress - it was packed up and ready to go but they had left me alone to deal with it. I unpacked it, put it on, and could not get it zipped up. I finally went out into the hallway and found a manager, who could tell I was less than pleased. She could not get the dress zipped either. We had to wait for the seamstress to finish with another customer, and the manager was trying her best to convince me everything was fine. She came across exceptionally condescendingly and as if I was crazy for being a little concerned. The seamstress managed to get it zipped. It was too tight -- and all 3 of us knew it. The manager proceeded to tell me this is the way it was supposed to fit, and by the way, here's how you tuck your back fat into the dress. I had intended to bring the dress back after my portraits, for them to keep before the wedding, but at that point I just wanted out of there and to have nothing more to do with Elegant Bridals.I've since had a quality seamstress look at the dress and it was indeed altered too small, in addition to one requested alteration not being done at all. She has let it out 3+ inches and it's still not quite right. I wish that I had spent the extra money on a dress at another store. It would have been worth the money I'm having to spend on top of what I already paid to have it altered.I highly (!!) recommend you go elsewhere.

The team at Elegant Bridals were so professional and extremely helpful. They were my first stop among many other bridal shops that I planned on visiting but I ended up finding my dress there! I brought in pictures of the styles of dresses that I liked and they were able to bring me dresses to try on that fit my taste. I found the perfect dress in no time and knew that it would be a waste of time going elsewhere. They staff kept in touch up until my wedding day to make sure everything was going fine. They have an onsite seamstress who was able to complete my alterations in 2 visits! Great bridal shop and I highly recommend!

These people were so helpful and caring! You really could call them for anything and they would have a answer for it. They are never too busy for you! The only mix up I had with them was that they got one of my girls dresses wrong 2 times. But other than that they were wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone!

Wonderful group of women, provided valuable tips and opinions

This bridal shop carries the most beautiful line of dresses, including the designer Maggie Sottero. A coordinator will work with you to picture what kind of dress you want as well as make suggestions and help pick out the most perfect dress for every bride along with coordinating dresses for bridesmaids and other members of the wedding party. They also carry invitations and can recommend clothing for grooms. Every appt. was fun, well attended, and special. Any questions, concerns were handled with ease and any preferences were met to perfection. They even stayed late one day as to accomodate me. I was very satisfied with all of my purchases and experiences with this shop and their alterations.

They are very expensive. They did not clean my dresses like they said they would, which left some of the stains I got from my bridal portraits there on the wedding day.
