Maureen was extremely professional and very prepared for our wedding. We put together our own vows and worked with Maureen to make the vows even more special. Her experience and kindness put us at ease, both before and during the wedding. She was spectacular in front of a rather large outdoor crowd, and was effective in gaining and holding everyone's attention. She also read a lovely prayer at the reception following the ceremony. Maureen is a wonderful woman who truly cared about us and our marriage. I would highly recommend her to any couple looking for an officiant. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Maureen was amazing to work with. From my first phone conversation with her, I felt at ease. We finally met with her face-to-face about 3 months before the ceremony to get to know her and to go through the ceremony itself. She listened to our recommendations and helped refine sections of the ceremony to make it personal and make it our's. Periodically leading up to the ceremony, she would check in with me via email to see how things were going and make sure I didn't need anything. She even scoped out our location to let us know about some changes so we could modify our plans appropriately. On the day of the wedding (on the beach in Hilton Head) it started to rain during our ceremony, and Maureen rolled with it. She ensured we had all the beautiful sections we'd planned, but perserving us and our guests from a sudden downpour. I couldn't have asked for a more responsive person to oversee the most important ceremony of my life! We asked her and her husband to join us at the reception, and they stayed and had a good time!

If you contact Maureen @ Creative Weddings you will not be disappointed. Once I spoke to Maureen on the phone I knew I found the right person to marry my husband and I. She has a great personality. Maureen spent time asking us questions so that she could capture just the right feelings & words we wanted to say and hear. To quote my best friend who came to our wedding "that was the most beautiful ceremony I have ever heard". That's the Gods honest truth! Maureen works to give you "your" wedding the way you want it. She helped us in other ways as well. We live in Arizona and Maureen was wonderful in guiding us when we needed help with details that you could only get from someone living in Hilton Head and who would be honest with you. Maureen was WONDERFUL. My husband and I had planned a wedding on the beach being married by a good friend of ours. When a family emergency arose the week before our wedding, and our friends were unable to come, they contacted her via email and phone and within 30 minutes, she had contacted me and arranged a meeting. She drove to my work so that we could go over the ceremony in detail (our friends had faxed/emailed her everything) and to calm my fears in having someone on our special day. She was very personable, and flexible. We spent about 20 minutes going over the notes/ceremony details, and she was ready to go. She was on site an hour ahead of time and had all paperwork and necessities. She was amazing!!
