Beyond Beautiful by Heather Make-up Artistry

From the moment I met Heather, I knew I found the perfect person to do my make-up for my wedding. Truly a sweet and genuine professional. She made me feel at ease, not only with my trial run but on the morning of my wedding as well. Heather went above and beyond any expectations I had as far as how I looked for my special day. I did the air-brush make-up and received numerous compliments, not only did it last all day and night, it made me look flawless. I still looked like myself or more importantly, felt like myself, after it was said and done and that was very important to me. I didn't want my future husband thinking I looked like a stranger, afterall, he fell in love with me for me. Of course with her magic touch and unbelievable talent, I not only thought she did a beautiful job but I felt like the most beautiful bride. I had tears in my eyes when I first looked in the mirror. Every bride wants to feel that way on her wedding day and that was definitely accomplished. She also did make-up and hair on two of my bridesmaids and they were absolutely stunning! I highly recommend Heather, it is rare to find someone like her and I couldn't be more grateful that I had that chance for a day that will always be remembered.

I booked Heather for my March wedding. She did my hair and makeup (airbrush) and she did the hair & makeup for my 2 bridesmaids. And she was WONDERFUL! Right from the start, she was quick to respond to my emails and was very professional and helpful. She helped me figure out the timeline for getting us all ready by the time the photographer would arrive. I did a trial beforehand at her house and she did an amazing job. My husband (then fiance) loved the look too and he doesn't typically like a lot of makeup. But she is able to make you look great without looking like you have a ton of makeup on. But besides her fantastic skills with hair and makeup, I think the best thing about Heather is her demeanor. She really is like the "bride whisperer" as another reviewer put it. She's so sweet and calm and reassuring. That's just what I needed. I think when brides are sitting down for hair & makeup - that's when the nerves really start to set in so you need someone that has Heather's vibe to keep you calm. She has a really beautiful energy about her. When I got my engagement photos taken months before my wedding, I went to another makeup artist in Savannah and my makeup was just okay. I wish I had known about Heather back then because she did such an amazing job, a lot better than the other artist. So I definitely recommend Heather for all your hair & makeup needs!!

Where to start? From the first time I met Heather for my hair & makeup trial I appreciated her willingness to make my dream come true. She played with color and different ideas until we found a look that I loved. Now ladies, we all know how fickle we can be and I am no exception. The day of I pulled out my lip color (which was way different a color direction than we had figured initally) and Heather didn't skip a beat. She reimagined the look I was going for to compliment the new gloss. I opted to go all in with lashes and can't say enough how full but not overdone they looked. I decided on airbrush for all my bridesmaids and my mother. If you're a skeptic let me stress how she started makeup near nine in the morning and I didn't head in until 3am! In our hot humid Southern weather (even rain throughout the night) I didn't smudge or streak, nada : ) She was with us all morning and early afternoon until the photog arrived and was just one of us girls. She's sweet and funny and even went into crisis mode when I started to melt down when we got rain just as pictures were ready to start (I was so worked up I decided against my sweet birdcage veil because i couldn't get it to "sit" right). She talked with me and calmed me down. The bride whisperer I would say : ) Overall a fabulous investment and a wonderful experience: no running around town made for one easy going morning and a truly pampered experience.

Heather was absolutely wonderful! She only wanted to make me happy and worked everything around me. She took her time and really listened to what I was looking for and everybody came out beautiful!

AMAZING!!!!!! Heather is a truly talented professional and delightful person. If I could give a higher rating, I would. I read all of the reviews below and reviewed her website. Once I contacted Heather, I felt good about my decision. After talking with Heather, I had absolutely no concerns regarding my decision to incorporate Heather into my wedding day enhancement. Heather did my trial the day before my wedding and I loved it, as did my fiancé, friends and family. The next day, Heather surpassed my expectations (my husband even commented that I looked even more beautiful and he didn't think that was possible). If Heather is doing your makeup and she envisions something, I recommend letting her go with it! Heather also did my MOH and she looked stunning as well. When Heather was doing my MOH's makeup, I realized that I some how broke a nail. Of course, I was concerned about what I would do at the last minute. I had about an hour to dress and get ready and my photographer was already on site and taking preparation photos. HEATHER TO THE RESCUE!!!!! She finished my MOH and then fixed my nail!!! Crisis diverted. I sincerely enjoyed spending my time with Heather on my special day. She made me feel and look like the most beautiful woman in the world. I don't see how anyone could consider using someone else. I will certainly give referrals to anyone who is looking/considering to hire a professional makeup artist. Heather, I cannot thank you enough!!!!!

Heather was WONDERFUL!! So prepared and organized, she eliminates any day of stresses for the bride. I was so at ease with her, and the entire bridal party looked wonderful!! Hair and make up looked beautiful even the next day! She has fair prices and will do anything to make a bride feel like a princess :) Would highly recommend Heather to anyone getting married in the Savannah area.

Heather was amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything more. She knows what looks the best on you but she takes everything you say into account. She's an amazing artist and she keeps you looking like you just a little more polished on your wedding day. She's flexible, caring, and friendly. She takes her work personally and every bride matters. I recommend that you book her while you can. She's one of a kind!

Having only ever had my makeup done by cosmetics counter ladies I was nervous about having it done professionally for the most important day of my life. I was afraid of looking like a clown. Heather made the process easy and the work she did was amazing. I looked like myself only better (by a lot). She really listened to what i was afraid of, asked questions that helped her make good decisions about what products to use and was calm and professional all the time. I was thrilled with what I saw in the mirror and I can't wait to get the pictures back so I can see her work again! Thank you Heather!!

Heather, I would like to thank you for the incredible makeup job you did on me. I didn't think I could look any better after our trial-run, but on the big day, I swear you made me look 10 times better than the first time! Just amazing! You are definitely a make-up guru, I was blown away by how much you know about it all. You really should write a book on it for us who are clueless when it comes to makeup and glamour! Heather is an absolute joy to work with! From your first phone or email contact, you can tell you are dealing with a true professional...and when you actually meet, she is even better than you expected!! She seems to know exactly what you want, even when you aren't sure yourself! Don't look any further, hire this woman! You will not be disappointed!!!

Heather was absolutely wonderful. i had decided last minute to treat myself and pay someone to do my makeup for my wedding. She was so sweet and worked me in between other appointments she had that day. She was extremely professional and very wonderful and did an AMAZING job. Everyone complimented my make-up. The make-up she used lasted all day. She did my make-up at 10:30am that morning and it was still looking great at midnight that night. Thank you Heather for making my wedding day extra special.

I cannot say enough good things about Heather. She is truly a talented make-up artist with an amazing personality! She did the makeup for my mom, my two bridesmaids and me. Everyone was thrilled by how beautiful, flawless and natural it came out. I had my makeup done at 12:00 pm for a 5:00 pm outside wedding. My makeup stayed perfect throughout the entire night! She truly did an AMAZING job. Heather goes above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of on your special day! She is a MUST have artist on your special day. I could not have done it without her.

Heather was an absolute dream to work with! Heather provided hair, makeup and nail services for me while in Savannah for my elopement. Not only did she make me feel comfortable, relaxed and absolutely gorgeous... she was really there for me as a friend and like I had known her for years. She was glad to assist me getting into my dress, and helping keep me hidden from my groom, really making the elopement feel just as traditional as a larger wedding. Heather was truly a treat to work with, and I was blessed to have found her through a close friend. It is obvious once you meet with her that she is extremely genuine, and cares about her clients. She really listened to what I wanted, and worked with me in order to create a perfect outcome. I didn't feel over-done or fake on my wedding day, just comfortable and confident. The airbrush makeup she used on me lasted throughout the day and night, and remained flawless. Heather was a pleasure to work with! She was prompt to return my phone calls and emails during the planning process. She arrived on time to the appointments I set with her. My trial make-up looked fabulous, but was a little to heavy for my taste. As such, I asked Heather to tweak my make-up a bit for the day of my wedding and she was responsive to my request. My make-up was spot on the day of my wedding. I had airbrush make-up and it stayed on all day and evening. I'm so pleased that I chose to work with Heather.
