Wonderful bakery, easy to work with and unmatched value! They made the cake exactly how we wanted it and charged just a fraction more than Publix! I highly recommend Bakers Pride -- everyone raved about how yummy the cake was and how beautiful it looked!!

It was so easy working with the staff at Baker's Pride. All of our business was conducted over the phone, as we live in a different state. They were able to accomodate my very small cake, decorated it beautifully, and charged a very reasonable price. The cake was the best we've ever eaten! I can't give Baker's Pride high enough...

We used Baker's Pride for our small cutting cake and cupcakes. We orded nine dozen cupcakes in a variety of flavors: red velvet, white, chocolate, carrot, and hummingbird (apparently a southern thing; dense like a banana bread, sweet,notes of coconut, banana, etc). They arrived on time and were so yummy. The cake itself was moist and the icing wasn't overdone. Our guests couldn't get enough. A local favorite, I'm so pleased with the fact that we not only saved money versus overpriced "bridal" cakeries, but that we supported a local business. Tasty & budget friendly!

Our wedding cake was amazing. I was disappointed at first because I had really wanted fondant for our cake and Baker's Pride does not do fondant, but I am glad we went with them in spite of that because our cake was delicious and beautiful!

This bakery was a pleasure to work with in every aspect. Their prices are very reasonable and they were more than willing to work with us on everything from the look of the cake, to the many changes I made along the way. The cake was WONDERFUL. I found Baker's Pride by Internet search for my out of town wedding in Savannah. Thanks to the powers of Yelp and a few other websites, they had great reviews, so I took a chance on booking them to make my wedding cake. A few days before the wedding, they invited me to visit and taste a few of the options that I had for cake and icing. We went with the yellow pudding cake and buttercream frosting. The cake turned out amazing gorgeous and exactly what I described to Tricia, the baker (and I believe owner). Oh, and the taste was heavenly! Bakers Pride offers delivery (for an added fee), and they delivered my cake to the reception. It was all setup when we arrived, and I thank them for being efficient so that I didn't have to worry on my wedding day. I'm only knocking off a star because they do not offer any sort of extras with the cake, such as gum paste flowers or other decorations. It would have been nice if they did or at least contracted someone to make them. I had to provide them myself, and not being a cake decorator I didn't really know much about ordering something like that. They did make a suggestion, so that was at least helpful. A perfect experience and perfect cakes! This was a professional and low-stress experience, and all the staff that I talked with were wonderful and extremely helpful. The cake looked amazing and was delicious. It was exactly what I wanted. I have no complaints and would recommend them over anyone else in Savannah.

I was planning a wedding from California, so communication was somewhat difficult. I was relying on e-mail, and I didn't have much success with quick responses (or responses at all). Originally the bakery was not taking orders for wedding cakes the weekend of my wedding due to the fact that it was a holiday weekend. Trisha did me a great favor by agreeing to make my cake anyway because I had fallen in love with a design on her website and didn't trust anyone else to make a simlar design. I really appreciated that! I was a bit frustrated that there was no information on the website about available cake and filling flavors. When asking about flavors, I was told that they "pretty much have anything". We ordered chocolate pudding cake with buttercream icing, and we were surprised with Oreo filling. It was very good. The cake and buttercream were fresh and moist, and the Oreo filling tasted just like Oreos. I should note that the bakery was hired as part of a package through a wedding coordinator, so I don't know how much my cake cost and I cannot provide an opinion on "Value for Cost".

This place isn't anything fancy, and you won't find a bunch of pretentious people working here. If you want a beautiful, delicious wedding cake, or ANY type of cake, this is the place to get it. The people at Baker's Pride are extremely attentive and friendly. We got exactly what we wanted, at even lower the cost than we expected. Prices are very reasonable, and the quality is great. Our cake was delish! I recommend red velvet. It was awesome. Overall great quality.

LOVED my Baker's Pride wedding cake. I was after a more-delicious-than-beautiful cake... but I got BOTH! The cake was THE MOST affordable quote I received and they did such a great job with my very simple "design." I didn't have a huge plan for the cake but they made it look very beautiful and elegant. The best part? The taste!!! Very southern and very delicious! I planned my wedding from Dallas, TX, and they were so easy and accomodating through email and phone. On our honeymoon I had wished I brought some leftovers!!!

We had a destination wedding in Savannah and our wedding planner recommended Baker's Pride. We were extremely happy with our wedding cake. All of our communication was through email and our cake turned out absolutely beautiful. It looked EXACTLY like the picture that we submitted and tasted amazing! We had many compliments on both the look and taste of the cake. I would highly recommend Baker's Pride.

I LOVED my wedding cake. It was delicious, beautiful and affordable. Baker's Pride is locally owned and the owners are very experienced in wedding cakes. I came in without any idea of what I wanted. Trish sat down with me and we looked at magazine pictures together and came up with a design. She let me taste all her flavors and change my mid up until the last moment. They are very easy to work with and down to earth. No super stuffy and pricey atmosphere here. The cake was moist and delicious. In addition you get a free cake made fresh on your year anniversary.

Oh my goodness Baker's Pride was the most amazing choice for our wedding cake! They achieved our designer 3 layer spectacular cake for a fraction of the cost of any other vendor! Our cake was ALMOST too beautiful to eat but one bite and you'll be in heaven! So many choices, all at a quality standard other bakeries will simply dream about. Baker's pride has got the skills the achieve any design you can dream up with an array of flavors to suit any taste! Their wonderful staff was accommodating, professional and courteous to a fault! People are still talking about my wedding cake. Baker's Pride made my cake look exactly like the picture that I gave them. It didn't just look good, it tasted amazing! They have some of the best pricing in the Savannah area and make very memorable cakes!!!

Trish at Bakers Pride Bakery was amazing!! She took our concept for the cake and made it into a work of art that completely captured the theme of the wedding. She went well out of her way to accomodate a specific special circumstance and made a rare exception for us. Her pricing structure is incredibly reasonable, I can't imagine anyone choosing another bakery in Savannah. In addition to the lovely visual presentation, the cake was delish!! We could not have asked for a better experience for our wedding cake. All of it was awesome. The cake tasting was very impressive. I did visit with other wedding cake companies but Trish was very warm and inviting. She gave us exactly what we wanted. My mother even enjoyed the cake and she is the hardest to please since she is a cake baker and decorator herself. Aside from the taste being amazing checkout how beautiful it was. I loved my cake! I drew a picture of what I wanted my cake to look like and it turned out perfect! I even asked for glitter on my cake (which they had never heard of before) and they still did it for me! AND it was very yummy! They also give you a free mini cake on your one year anniversary!

Our wedding cake was not only beautiful & to our specifications, it was DELICIOUS! Thank you, Bakers Pride!!
